The Bay Beginners was first founded in 1993 is Eurobodalla’s Premier Driving School leading the way in Safer Driver Education.

The Bay Beginners have been serving the community for 25 years and in 2010 was recognised as the Home Business of the Year by the Batemans Bay Chamber of Commerce for excellence and commitment to driver education.

The Bay Beginners was first founded in 1993 by Ian Robert Hilton.  Ian was the face of The Bay Beginners until June 2014 when Alan Morton owned and operated The Bay Beginners.  Alan had many years of professional driving experience, and over 20 years of service as a former NSW Police Officer including service in the NSW Highway Patrol.

Alan has been professionally trained by Driver and Rider Education (DARE) in Narellan. Since January 2020 Sean Burgess and Lee Harris are the new owners and The Bay Beginners now has five vehicles in the fleet.
